How long is the recovery when getting wisdom teeth pulled?

my two sons 16,17 R getting their teeth pulled today before they even come out so how long is it going to take them to recover?

How long is the recovery when getting wisdom teeth pulled?
They'll probably be in pain for a day or two and they should be eating normally within a few days. That's how it went with me.
Reply:Well, everyone is different, but I had mine done a week ago, and I am still not 100% better. The swelling finally is all gone though, but it is still kinda hard to open my mouth and chew food. Just tell them to take it easy, keep the extracted areas clean, rinse with warm salt water, and keep ice on their faces for the first day, then any day after that, switch to heat, that really helps with the swelling as well!
Reply:It depends on how the teeth are growing in. If they are growing in straight the recovery time will be less. If they are growing in crooked it could take alot longer.

Two of mine were growing in the wrong way. My recovery was horrible. I had a 4 wisdoms pulled around Thanksgiving and a couldn't eat any turkey even on Christmas! I also had a dry socket. Ouch.
Reply:Depends on how much cutting the Dentist have to cut. Within a month should do !
