i am scared f getting my teeth pulled so the dentist prescribed me volume to take before i go in the morning do you think it will help me stay calm enough to get them pulled? please help

I think you mean Valium??? Like the sedative?? Yes take it and it will help relax you - also take a good friend or relative with you - they may even be allowed to come in with you and hold your hand.

Reply:Pulling teeth these days is a lot different than before. I had two back teeth removed not long ago and the dentist actually pulled them out with his fingers...true. If you are in pain, just think of the relief that will follow. Calm down, and ask a close friend or relative to go with you.......you really only have to beat the needle....I hate the needle. Reply:Extractions have changed over time and are not the nightmare they used to be.
There are the options of sedatives, numbing gel, happy gas to help with nervousness.
Also it helps if your dentist has a nice chairside manner, it can put you at ease.
