i had 4 wisdom teeth pulled 5 days ago, together with the removal of another two teeth and the exposure of another which was lodged in my gum. the first few days were pretty painful, but has gradually got better. i was supposed to go back to work today, but woke up with a sore throat (only on one side), headache and mild ear ache. is this normal or could this be the beginning of an infection? should i be concerned?

you might want to call your oral surgeon's office and ask them what this might be. It could be an infection of some sort. I would definitely call them in the morning. I have to get all 4 of mine out tomorrow morning...=( I hope you get better!
