I'm really scared about getting my teeth pulled?

I'm getting 4 teeth pulled for braces, the oral surgeon said I'm getting IV Sedation and that I won't remember anything. I'm really scared, what's it like?

I had this done, 30 years ago! And medications are even better now...I swear, I told the dentist, "OK! I am ready, Please hurry up and do this because it is so scary!" and he told me, "I'm done. " I thought he was kidding, til he put cotton in my mouth and showed me the four teeth. I felt absolutely nothing!! And I have not once, even for one minute, missed my teeth. Only dentists notice, and they say, "You have nice teeth; you had braces didn't you?" I asked how they can tell, "You are missing four..."


I don't miss them and it never hurt to have them pulled. so be brave!
Reply:lol wow, hated those days...once you get them pulled out. You'll be super dizzy and weak from the sedation, and your will puff like a balloon for like 1 1/2 weeks. The surgery will be quick and painless tho so don't worry it won't hurt..much. The only thing that sucks is that you can't anything good for like that whole time period or else food can get stuck in your 4 new holes in your mouth.

You won't feel a THING, and afterwards you'll be tired, woozy and sore, but you'll have great painkillers to help you along.
