When deos one have to get his/her wisdom teeth pulled?

I'm wondering if I have to pull my wisdom teeth. They don't hurt, and I can't tell if my teeth are more crooked since I was 11 years. I don't know if my teeth will start hurting or will get even more crooked. Anyone know?

When deos one have to get his/her wisdom teeth pulled?
If they fit, you don't have to have them pulled. However, because of their placement, they tend to get cavities easier than other teeth. They are more difficult to get to with a toothbrush, especially while they are growing in.
Reply:the dentist always wants to pull teeth. BUt normally if they are not bothering you then leave them unless you are going to have braces put on . A dentist will tell you if he thinks that they will cause a problem. Go see him if you are that worried.
Reply:if the teeth can fit in your jaw im pretty sure you dont have to have them pulled. the next time you go to the dentist he should tell you if you need to have them pulled or not but if they dont look crooked to you then most likely you do not need to have them pulled
Reply:as long as you don't have any pain or any other problems from them, then I wouldn't worry about it. I had all of mine removed because they were growing in crooked and were causing a lot of pain. Only a dentist can tell whether you need to have them taken out or not.
Reply:If they are fully erupted (at the same level as the other teeth and the gum don't overlap those, if there are no cavities on those and there is no space problem, you dont have to extract those...

Else it might be required to extract. Your dentist may tell you if you need to.

The ideal age is between 18 ans 24. after 24 years, as you age, the bone become denser and the extraction is more traumatic.
Reply:Don't worry, you'll know when they have to come out, they will tell you. However not everyone has to have them out and I hope you are one of the lucky ones. Good luck
