Loose stitch 12 hours after wisdom teeth pulled?

I got all four wisdom teeth pulled yesterday and within 12 hours one of the bottom stitches has come loose. Unsurprisingly, this is really the only part of my mouth that really hurts right now. If I just leave it be can it heal okay or do I need to go back in and have them redo it?

they dont do only 1 stitch at each site, but 2-3... so there is other stitches that are holding the tissus.





Even if you go back to the dentist he will check that everything is ok, but wont see anything since there is a blood cloth that he wont want to disturb, so he will just send you home withouth checking..





Other than that its not unusual you will be ok..
Reply:i would go back in TODAY- since with the weekend coming, you will have to wait a couple more days and if you leave it like that for long- you will get an infection
Reply:You don't need to go back unless the bleeding continues. Put ice on it to reduce the swelling and prevent any further ruptures. That should do the trick! Good luck!
Reply:back when I had mine all done, I was puking because of the medicine and most of my stitches came out that day or the next, and I was fine., although I was in alot of pain just because I couldnt take anymore of the pain medicine


I would atleast call them and ask them what you should do
Reply:Dont bother. Stiches are done not too tight. They always do it little loose. Even if it comes off, leave it. It will heal alright
