I just got my wisdom teeth pulled, and would really like to smoke some weed, what is the best possible way? Do you need gauze? How should I do it?
If I put gauze on pulled wisdom teeth gum, can I still smoke weed?
Stop smoking weed loser. Go outside and get some fresh air and a hobby that doesn't make you rediculous.
Reply:When you have a tooth extracted you have a risk of getting a dry socket. This is when the protective blood clot is removed. It is VERY painful and requires repeated trips to the dr to get the socket "packed". Any type of sucking action can cause you to lose this clot. Example: sucking through a straw, sucking on a cigarette and/or joint, gathering spit up in your mouth etc. You can smoke your weed but you should first wait until all bleeding has stopped. It would be best to get a 2x2 gauze pad-folded in half, get it damp with water (not saturated) so it doesn't stick to your clot and pull it out when removing the gauze. Bite gently on the gauze to cover the socket. You should keep the sockets covered while smoking. Be aware that alcoholic beverages will dissolve the clot as well so be careful drinking alcohol. Weed and alcohol can clash with pain medicine too so be careful and don't plan on driving. Good luck and heal well.
Reply:No joints, as you have to suck in order to smoke them. Your best bet is a bong or knife hits.
Reply:you can still smoke, but be very careful not to drag on that side of your mouth (experienced smokers can do this well). if you aren't good at controlling the drag, i would wait a day or two (if you can't make it that long you might have a problem)
