Can the orthodontist pull teeth?

if yes do they give u laughing gas or not? im just wondering

Can the orthodontist pull teeth?
They can if they want to because they are all trained dentists... If you ask for laughing gas there is not a huge chance that they will turn you down...
Reply:Yes, an orthodontist is a dentist who has specialized...he/she will probably give you shots to kill the pain...laughing gas isn't used much any more. Good luck
Reply:HAHAHA.

You're stupid.
Reply:They will normally refer you to someone to have it pulled.
Reply:when i got my tooth pulled they just gave me a shot in my gums
Reply:They give you laughing gas if they are going

to pull you'r leg.
Reply:Yes they can pull teeth they pulled my teeth.
Reply:They can but usually they will refer you to a regular dentist
Reply:depending on where the tooth is most of the time they just use demoral to put you under
Reply:Orthodontists deal mostly with things such as braces but not actually pulling and maintenance of the teeth. You should see a regular dentist that specialize in that sort of thing.
Reply:Anyone can pull teeth, you just need a pair of vice grips. On a more serious note, orthodontists have a certificate that says they are allowed to legally practice medicine, so yes, they can pull teeth. They would probably not give you laughing gas because it is more dangerous than just giving you a shot that would only make your mouth numb. Generally, local anesthetics are safer than general anesthetics.
