I had braces when i was like 6th-8th grade now my teeth are crooked again probably because of my 4 wisdom teeth coming in and now i need braces again...I've been told i needed to get the wisdom teeth removed about 4 yrs ago but decided not to b/c of cost (i have no insurance) and the fact that the denist wanted to put me to sleep to do it..what a sick freak! Yes, I have a fear of aneneisa (sp?)
Would I need to get my wisdom teeth pulled before i get braces again?
Hold on to your wisdom teeth until you get some of it in your brains!
Reply:Only your dentist can make this decision for you. Everyone's mouth is different, and every case in orthodontics is different as well. As for anesthesia, it's a relatively small price to pay for a healthy, pain-free, and attractive smile!
Reply:I got braces as an adult, and I too was recommended to have my wisdom teeth out. Mine were impacted so I was happy to be put under general anesthesia!
