Pedodontist: childrens dentist
Periodontist: gum disease
DDS/DMD (general dentist): fillings, cleaning, general extractions and root canals, crowns, partials, bridges, dentures, some gum disease
A dentist doesn't pull teeth right..that's an orthodontist?
An Orthodontist deals with braces. A Dentist does everything else including pulling the teeth.

Reply:No, it's a dentist. An orthodontist puts on and maintains your braces, braces only.
