stop worrying. Go back to your last question and read my answer....if ther'es just a little blood is ok.... put gauze in, bite down and LEAVE it there for 40 min....

stop poking around back there....! just bite, then take it out, then go to bed and check in AM....be sure to use old pillow case, tho', as a little blood may stain....
Reply:It's ok, give it time, your gums will heal.

Don't worry everyone goes through it.
Reply:How old are you? My mother had hers done recently and it was awful and painful for her (she's a 40+ smoker, she got a dry socket or at least an irritated nerve) but when I got mine done, it healed up after just a few days.

It's normal to bleed a little because you've just had a bone ripped out of your head (graphic, but true.) Take an advil, don't drink from straws or suck on anything (cigarettes, soup on a spoon, nada.) and wait it out. Better yet, if your dentist gave you drugs, take them and sleep it off. If by Tuesday you aren't feeling 100% better, call your dentist and see if he can schedule you a checkup to see why it's still acting up. If you're young, it should grow back fairly easily.
Reply:Try not to drink with a straw and eat liquids. Don't pull on the stitches and if it is bleeding too heavily you should give your dentist a call on the morning. Also try putting salt on warm water and just filling your mouth with it then just let go of it, don't gargle or swish it because it can disturb the clot and you want it to clot so it start healing put a new gauze on it and don't remove it for at least 6 hours, don't use any mouth wash at all because it can disturb he clot as well. I hope this heps you, I had mine done over 10 year ago but I'm a nurse.
Reply:call the oral surgeon that took out your wisdom teeth and ask them.
Reply:DR. SWANSON GAVE SOME EXCELLENT ADVISE. THESE ARE DISSOLVING SUTURES (STITCHES) AND IT'S OK IF SOME OF THEM COME OUT NOW.DON'T WORRY, IT'S ALL GOING TO BE FINE.
