Im getting my wisdom teeth pulled????????
I got all 4 out at once. Its okay that day then the next 2 days are bad but then you feel fine. relax it does not hurt. The doctor will prescribed you pain killers, but I did not need it i used Tylenol. get rest and have some soup, but make sure you rinse your mouth after you eat so nothing gets stuck and you don't get a infection.
Reply:Seriously, I got my top two out at the same time, with no sedation, and it was totally fine. I didn't feel a thing! Plus you won't be drousy like most people are after sedation. I didn't even need to pain killers.
Reply:Assuming you are seeing an oral surgeon, then, no, it shouldn't hurt when the teeth are extracted with just a local anesthetic. You may feel a quick tug, but that's it. Surgeons are blessed with skilled hands. Take your pain meds on schedule, and apply cold packs for the first 12 hrs, then start warm salt water rinses for a couple of days. Basically, if you follow the pre-op information from your surgeon, then you should be fine and recover after 7 days, if not sooner.
