Should I be Taking Antibiotic before Pulling My Tooth?
If you dont have an infection, then its not necessary.
Reply:no usually only an antibiotic is prescribed only if there is an infection present.
Reply:no take motrin or tylenol
Reply:Don't think antibiotic... think painkillers. Maybe Ibuprofen or Vicodin.
Reply:I'm sure if you needed antibiotics, your dentist would have prescribed them.
Reply:I had a total knee replacement and have to have antibiotics before even cleaning my teeth. Before that, I never had to have antibiotics and I had a lot of teeth pulled.
Reply:Depends on if you have a heart mur mur , then yes. Otherwise, they usually don't prescribe you anything unless you ask.
Reply:If the dentist didn't prescribe you anything than you should be fine. If you can, take 800mg Ibuprofen before your dental appointment %26amp; keep up on it for the next 2 days...that will help with any discomfort you may have.
