Getting teeth pulled out?(wisdom) do i have anything to worry about?

I am not being put to sleep nor am i getting laughing gas i am just going to have a normal anesthetic..like just be nnumbed, im just scared something might happen while they do it..like the tooth cracking or hitting a nerve..I am not scared of neeedles though i've always got shots and pierced my own ear when it closed and looked right at the needle lol. But I'm nervous its tomorrow and plus im not going under i'll just be numbed and no laughing gas either, how can i feel better about this?

ohh%26amp;%26amp; im planning to try and pull an all nighter or at least sleep late so during my operation ill be tired, is that ok?

don't worry about it too much. i only had two pulled, one was impacted (below the gum) the other wasn't, i never got my top ones. they were going to give me laughing gas but i asked to be put to sleep under general anesthesia b/c i didn't want to know what was going on. i get anxious easily. i think you should try to get a good nights sleep. i'm sure they will take good care of you. just try to relax the best you can and if you hurt tell them!! make sure they take care or you and make you feel safe : ) i was very nervous on the way but it went by so fast! i didn't get any nerve damage but sometimes it seems like my jaw clicks. it isn't painful so i'm not worried about it. it probably was from my wisdom teeth surgery. don't worry you'll be fine! good luck!
Reply:wisdom teeth are usually big, so the surgeon will probably use a drill to cut the tooth in half then pull it out.





You shouldn't too much pain, mainly a bit of pressure, then a lot of bleeding afterwards.

Reply:PRAY haha ask all of ur friends if theyv gotten their wisdoms removed so u can get mor info on it, relax, and let the dentist ppl do their work. in the future ull feel glad you got it done
Reply:no u should be well rested healthy and had something to eat. it shoulldn't be as bad as u r thinking, seriously!!!!!
Reply:My friend's big sis got them removed... she couldn't eat solid food for a week. They use a chisel to get beneath the gums. *~* Personally, needles freak me out, if you are, get put asleep.
