Will a dentist pull your teeth just because a patient wants new teeth. Even if they dont need to?

My teeth are perfectly straight but yellowing. I would like to have new teeth in the front where people can see them .I didnt know if a dentist would pull them just because. I cant get them whitened because i have so many fill-ins that are yellowish. Thanks

It really depends. Some dentists are willing to do more things for purely cosmetic reasons than others are. Have you thought about having them capped?
Reply:You can get them bonded without having to pull out your teeth. An ethical dentist would not pull out healthy teeth, but I'm sure if you pay someone enough they would do it. Money talks.
Reply:In that case its best to have porcelain veneers done. They will cover up everything. But firstly you must replace old fillings with white ones for a perfect finish.
Reply:Some dentists will do anything, but this is pretty extreme...
Reply:NO decent dentist would pull your teeth out if they are healthy, what you need is crowns if you want them to look better, if you have the teeth pulled out, what are u going to do then? u will be a gummy bear and need a denture or implants, see the dentist and have a discussion on crowns

good luck
Reply:not if they are ethical. why not get veneers??? don't pull teeth...you will be sorry later.
